Meet Inge de Bruijn
Who doesn't know her: Inge de Bruijn. The top athlete has already won many victories, including four times Olympic swimming champion. In 2007, De Bruijn announced that she would retire from her swimming career, but returned briefly in 2013. During the European Masters Championships in Eindhoven, she immediately took another victory: an all-time Masters record in the 50 meters. We don't have to miss her. She can still be seen regularly in television programs. For example, she is a presenter of the RTL program Netherlands Discovered and she is occasionally a participant in various programs. She also gives presentations to companies and gives swimming clinics.
Encore by Simonis, The Hague
Inge: ''Every once in a while there is a Motown Brunch at Encore by Simonis on Sunday. Then I really enjoy the delicious sushi and the cozy atmosphere, which is always there, and Motown classics are sung live by the artists during brunch. Delicious! The entertainment is fantastic, so definitely recommended.
Baoli, Cannes
Inge: ''I have been here before and recently I went back for the first time with friends. This is a really lovely place with good food and a good atmosphere. Here you experience the French atmosphere and the outdoors. Enjoyment in its purest form.”
Maldives
Inge: ''Sometimes you just don't need more than just a rosé in your hand, lounge music and the most beautiful sunset. The most beautiful gift is the sunset. You can hardly give me better than that, fantastic. And where better to do this than the Maldives? I also did an underwater massage here. You see all the fish swimming, which is really beautiful. You will then see all the splendor of the underwater world. I stayed here at the W Hotel, also great!''Photo: private archive Inge de Bruijn
At mother's house
Inge: ''When my mother calls to come over for dinner, I immediately drop everything and go straight to her. And especially for oven-baked chicory, she makes it the best! She really is the best cook I know. There's nothing like 'restaurant mama'. I really enjoy coming there and she is a real source of inspiration for me. We have a very good bond. I'm just not allowed to take pictures of her haha. This hotspot is definitely at the top for me as the nicest place to come''.
