In some films, cars are almost as important as the characters themselves – so their market value goes hand in hand with how “famous” the car has become. Le Mans – 1968 Ford GT40 Gulf

One car that became famous thanks to its starring role in Le Mans was the 40 Ford GT1968 Gulf, which sold at auction in 2012 for an incredible €9,1 million. Apparently the Ford GT40 Gulf was the first car to use carbon fiber with the intention of being both powerful and light.

Batman – Batmobile

It's almost impossible to think of Batman without the classic Batmobile, so it only makes sense that the car would eventually become worth millions. It eventually became the car of Bryce Wayne, who later sold the car for € 3,9 million.

Of all James Bond's cars, the Aston Martin DB5 was by far the best-selling. The Aston Martin DB5 is simply pure beauty. So whoever ends up paying the very expensive €3,8 million price tag is in luck.

Bullitt – 1968 Mustang GT 390

Steve McQueen was the very talented lead actor in several racing films. This means he had the opportunity to drive not only some of the most unique cars in the industry, but also some of the most prohibitively expensive vehicles in history. Another car to add to his list is the 390 Mustang GT 1968, which McQueen drove in the movie Bullitt. The car was eventually sold for a whopping €3 million by a lucky buyer at auction.

Specter – Aston Martin DB10

Last but not least on our list of Hollywood's most expensive cars, the famous James Bond car. The Aston Martin was driven by Daniel Craig, who played the stylish British spy in the film Spectre. You could say that the Bond series ultimately amassed a very extensive list of expensive cars. This has a price tag of €2,8 million.
