The restaurant, inspired by Venetian food culture, specializes in small dishes, Cicchetti, and Italian wines and cocktails with the signature TOZI Spritz. In addition to Italian artisanal products, TOZI also uses honest, seasonal ingredients that are purchased locally. Chef Stefano Assente grew up in the beautiful region of Tuscany, Italy. Although a true Italian through and through, he has lived abroad for 13 years enjoying different food cultures and lifestyles – starting in Moscow, then Paris and for the last 9 years Amsterdam has been his permanent home base. He combines his passion for Italian cuisine with the refinement often seen in French cuisine to create the best regional recipes.

Chef Stefano Assente's inspiration for the best of TOZI menu is based on his many travels and experiences around the world. It's a mix of authentic Italian c, applying the right cooking techniques and contemporary dishes with a twist. Including a selection of meats, the Tonnarelli 'Cacio e Pepe' and lamb chops with turnip puree and spinach, the Best of TOZI menu is an absolute must when visiting the Amsterdam hotspot. In addition, fish and meat are prepared with care to guarantee an explosion of natural flavors and the sauces take the dishes to a new level.
