Giorgio Armani makes a distinctive statement at Milan Fashion Week

Milan Fashion Week 2022 closed on 28 February with a distinctive presentation by Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani.

Milan Fashion Week 2022 was closed in a special way on February 28 by the Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani. To show respect to Ukraine and its victims, the show was presented silently. Text: Patrick Stoffer

He is the first fashion designer to openly speak out against the conflict. Armani makes a big statement from the fashion world with his silence. He could count on a lot of respect from the audience. After loud applause, the fourteen-minute show started. Only the sound of clicking cameras, the sounds of the models and the occasional applause can be heard. Otherwise the show remained silent.
