Futuristic caravan becomes reality

The first design of this futuristic caravan was announced more than ten years ago. Now the so-called Romotow T8 has really become a reality. Thanks to the rotating design, it is ideal for the holidaymaker who is tired of the view of the campsite.

The camper is the brainchild of the New Zealand design agency W2. In 2018, the company unveiled a prototype of the trailer. The camper attracted a lot of attention thanks to its rotating design, but led many to wonder whether it would ever go into production. Five years later there is a completed version that will be built by ACM Motorhomes. 

Covered terrace

Once parked, the cabin slides out and can be rotated 90 degrees. Ideal to create a different view in this way. But when rotated, the base can also serve as a covered terrace with an integrated fold-out table and bench. 

27 square meters of living space offers space for a kitchen, dining area, bathroom and large bedroom. W2 indicates that there are options to upgrade the Romotow by opting for TVs or an outdoor projecter with a multi-zone sound system. Ideal so you don't have to miss anything from your favorite series while camping.
