This year's prestigious sailing competition takes place in vibrant Barcelona and marks an important milestone for the luxury lifestyle brand, which strives to deliver exceptional experiences at sea.

The America's Cup, the oldest international sporting competition, is known for its innovative designs and unparalleled performance. Between August 22 and October 27, teams from the US, UK, Italy, Switzerland and France will battle it out, with the winner taking on Emirates Team New Zealand in the ultimate final. 

As a Global Partner of the sailing competition, Explora Journeys emphasizes its commitment to maritime innovation and luxury. As part of the partnership, Explora Journeys will welcome the trophy aboard EXPLORA I on June 19. This special moment marks the start of a series of exciting activities and events in Barcelona. One of the highlights is the Official Race Village, where a special Explora Journeys area has been set up. Here guests can get a taste of the unique 'Ocean State of Mind' experience. During the competition itself, the race itself not only offers a breathtaking spectacle, but also exclusive festivities and a luxurious VIP hospitality from Explora Journeys will ensure an unforgettable experience.

On July 24, 2023, the first ship in the fleet, the EXPLORA l, was delivered in Italy. The 461 suites, penthouses and residences – with sea views through floor-to-ceiling windows and a private sun terrace – offer guests a comfortable home at sea.
