A sparkling ode to the Belle Époque era

In the famous Eden cellar in Epernay, exclusively accessible to the cellar master, Maison Perrier-Jouët keeps some of the world's rarest and most historic champagnes. Especially for MASTERS EXPO – LA BELLE ÉPOQUE, the maison opens its treasure trove and presents a collection with a very appropriate name.

Maison Perrier-Jouët, founded in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët, is one of the first champagne houses to bear a feminine name. Known for its romantic character and refined taste, this prestigious house owns vineyards in the heart of Champagne's Golden Triangle. In 2019, Perrier-Jouët was awarded five gold medals at the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships – a tribute to its unparalleled quality.

At the head of this iconic house is Séverine Frerson, the eighth cellar master and the first woman in this role in Perrier-Jouët's 200-year history. Frerson grew up in the Champagne region and decided to study oenology at a young age, despite not coming from a wine-growing family. Today she guards the house's treasures, including the oldest champagne bottle in the world from 1825, bottled by the founders themselves.

The iconic one also rests in the Eden cellar Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque collection, consisting of the Blanc de Blancs, the Belle Epoque and the Belle Epoque Rosé. These exclusive vintage champagnes first appeared in 1964 and are instantly recognizable worldwide by their elegant bottle, decorated with the Japanese white anemones, designed in 1902 by Art Nouveau master Emile Gallé. The champagnes are only produced in exceptional years and in very limited quantities, which contributes to their unique character and value. This rich history will come to life during MASTERS EXPO, when Perrier-Jouët presents its Belle Epoque collection – a sparkling tribute to the glorious Belle Époque era. Hello… 

MASTERS EXPO 

From December 12 to 16, around 350 national and international parties will merge into a vibrant symphony of entrepreneurship during MASTERS EXPO – LA BELLE ÉPOQUE.

At the premium and first class business fair, exhibitors and more than 41.500 visitors will be introduced to the novelties of many special (family) companies from more than 20 different industries. From mobility to watchmaking and from real estate to art. RAI Amsterdam is the arena where the CAPITAL OF GREAT BUSINESS takes place.
