Display House
The facade of the villa opens up to the plot, creating an impressive view. On the first floor and in the indoor swimming pool, the walls and eaves disappear into minimalist thin lines, which are emphasized by sleek LED lines. In this way the functions are given a clear framework, hence the name Display House.
The underground garage can be reached by driving under the villa. This makes the crossing office seem to float over the plot.
The grandeur continues inside. The interior is equipped with every luxury, including an indoor swimming pool, a wine cellar - which can be viewed through the glass floor in the kitchen -, a fitness with wellness and a large lounge with connection to the garage. However, the most important statement in the interior is the glasses car display in the heart of the house. This allows the owner's favorite car to take center stage in both the kitchen and living room.
Attention to detail
Sleek, white plasterwork, a smooth concrete floor that extends outside, minimalist LED lines and vertical black wooden slats are the four basic materials for the interior. The black wooden slats ensure good acoustics in the outdoor swimming pool, but are also reflected in the 'car display' as a background.
Through the ten sliding glass doors and the frames that are concealed in the floor, ceiling and walls, STATE manages to blur the boundary between inside and outside.
