These are the winners of the 2026 Oscars

The 98th edition of the Academy Awards took place on the night of Sunday, March 15, at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. During a nearly four-hour ceremony, it became clear which films, filmmakers, and actors made the biggest impression on the Academy over the past year. With Sinners as the big favorite, garnering sixteen nominations, and One Battle After Another with thirteen nominations, the bar was set particularly high for the most important statuettes.

Ultimately, Paul Thomas Anderson pulled with One Battle After Another came out on top.
