Forbes has compiled the figures once again: the annual list of the world's most valuable football clubs is here.

Forbes has crunched the numbers again: the annual list of the world's most valuable football clubs is out. Together, the thirty largest teams are worth $72 billion. But which five clubs will top the list in 2025?

1. Real Madrid | $6,75 billion

It almost feels like a tradition: Real Madrid tops the list for the fourth year in a row and the ninth time in twelve years. The Spanish powerhouse is now the first football club ever to generate more than $1 billion in revenue in a single season: $1,13 billion to be exact. And that's no coincidence: Champions League victory, a newly renovated $1,9 billion Santiago Bernabéu stadium and top players like Vinícius Jr. and Mbappé make Real Madrid a financial powerhouse.

2. Manchester United | $6,6 billion

Manchester United has made some serious mistakes in terms of sport. However, according to Forbes, the brand remains strong, with a global fan base and a turnover of $834 million. Ownership is now shared by both the Glazer family and Jim Ratcliffe.

3. FC Barcelona | $5,65 billion

Barcelona remains in Real Madrid's shadow, although not by much. The club recorded $821 million in revenue. Barça is also investing heavily: Camp Nou is getting a renovation that should be finished next year, and that could give revenue a big boost.

4. Liverpool | $5,4 billion

With $773 million in revenue, Liverpool remains firmly on the map worldwide. The club was part of recent fan protests against price increases, after which it decided to freeze ticket prices. Financially, the club is thus nicely stabilizing in the top five.

5. Manchester City | $5,3 billion

The richest club in terms of revenue after Real Madrid? Not Barcelona or United, but Manchester City, with $901 million in the books. Thanks to steady top form and owner Sheikh Mansour, City continues to climb the rankings, with a 4% increase in value this year.
