While many plane spotters have their lenses trained on the Polderbaan in anticipation of government aircraft for the NATO summit, with Air Force One as the ultimate trophy, MASTERS focuses on something that is flying under the radar of the general public: the breathtaking interior concept of the Boeing Business Jet 787-8.

Sometimes, just sometimes, designers let their imaginations run wild to show what a jet interior can be, without limitations. Solrise is one of those. Designer Natalie Rodríguez wanted to create more than just a beautiful interior, she wanted to create a space that felt like a five-star hotel above the clouds. 

The Main Lounge is the heart of the aircraft. Symmetrical in design, with a subtle circle as a resting point, and decorated with rich fabrics, soft gloss and atmospheric lighting. Almost as if you are entering an exclusive cocktail bar, but then at an altitude of ten kilometers. 

Speaking of drinks, in the back you’ll find a coffee bar that looks more like it belongs in a design hotel than a jet. A place where you can not only drink coffee, but also relax for a while or plan your next destination. 

If you want to retreat for a while, the Master Bedroom is a surprisingly intimate place. And right in the back? A cozy private cinema. Because why not have a movie night on the go? 

At the front there is another space that can be transformed from a meeting place to a dining table, depending on what the day (or night) demands.
