Dior embraces lens of Bastiaan Woudt in latest publication

Autodidact and now internationally celebrated, Bastiaan Woudt has conquered the photography world at remarkable speed with his distinctive vision. His work now appears in Dior Magazine No. 51, and he will be present at MASTERS EXPO.

Self-taught and now internationally acclaimed, Bastiaan Woudt has rapidly conquered the photography world with his signature black-and-white style. His work is exhibited from Los Angeles to London and will soon be featured at MASTERS EXPO. Dior Magazine No. 51 he shows that his eye for form and contrast loses none of its strength in colour either.

For the new issue of Dior Magazine Bastiaan Woudt focused his lens on the My Dior and La D de Dior collections. His restrained portrait style, for which he is renowned, doesn't clash with the opulence of haute joaillerie, but rather elevates it. His interplay of shadow, light, and form brings the jewels to life in an almost sculptural way. 

The photos feature Mameanta Wade and Eloïse Logan, among others, captured in a visual interplay of power and elegance. The production was handled by a carefully assembled team, with Janneke Schrey at the creative helm, styling by Tine Kozjak, and production from Paris by Louis2. The result? An editorial to take your breath away and to frame…

From Vogue to Rijksmuseum

It's no coincidence that Dior chose Bastiaan Woudt for this series. In just fourteen years, he became an international icon. His work is represented by galleries in Los Angeles, Zurich, Atlanta, and London. It is auctioned through Christie's, Sotheby's, and Phillips, and has been featured in publications including Harper's Bazaar, British Vogue, and New York Magazine. 

Two of his works were recently added to the Rijksmuseum's permanent collection, joining previous acquisitions at the Getty in Los Angeles and Museum Kranenburgh in Bergen. And soon at MASTERS EXPO, where visitors can admire his work up close. Curious? Check it out. here the different arrangements.
