Design by Nature
Nature is wild and capricious, but also soothing and healing. More and more designers are trying to incorporate these qualities into their work. For example, the Swedish design collective Front went into nature to photograph and sketch rocks, trees, lichens and beaches with algae. Using 3D scans, they processed their material into wooden seating objects that invite you to sit or lie down as in nature. Text: Peter van Kester

The nature photos and sketches have also been used for the covering. This is knitted in the Tilburg textile company Febrik and is made up of a multitude of gray, blue and green yarns. Front designed the Design by Nature furniture collection for Moroso and aims to bring not only the physical, but also the emotional nature of the outside inside.

No, but there should also be room to enjoy and experience in the new world.
