“We will appreciate our home even more as a safe place, because traveling will decrease somewhat, or at least change. There is also a greater task, certainly with us as designers, the shapers of this world, to preserve the world in all its beauty. More and more you see that nature is cherished in its positive energy. More and more greenery is being added indoors, we literally bring oxygen inside. Although it may be difficult to see it that way now, I think we live in wonderful times. We are at a crossroads, this is the time to choose and we can really make a difference. Feeling and intuition will play a greater role. This also applies at home: we are starting to appreciate the sense of detail and craftsmanship more. That will be luxury – special items that express finesse and where a story can be told. A beautiful niche finished in onyx with backlight, for example. This material is acquired kilometers deep below sea level, where it has grown for thousands of years and has become translucent due to its high moisture content. Those are the pearls in the interior.”

“The latest trends for luxury interiors are natural, honest materials. This is what defies time and will continue to do so for years to come. What we will see in the coming years is that heat will return everywhere in the house. Partly due to the corona period, we are looking for more homeliness. We are going to make it extra cozy and cozy at home. Hence the warmth in materials that will predominate. It sounds a bit daring, but a pine green kitchen, preferably with a golden undertone, will be all the rage! This is preferably combined with a beautiful type of marble. This in a beautiful light color with a green and gold vein. So cool! We also continue to combine with matte gold, bronze, gun metal and copper. This is often very subtly incorporated into the interior, but gives a very chic look. Especially in combination with black oak or Wengé, leather, velor fabrics and deep pile carpets. The new interior trends are really a joy to realize!”

“Our designs are an expression of the spirit of the times. 2021 will be a year of reflection. The situation surrounding the coronavirus makes us more aware of health and our own immediate environment. We are literally and figuratively forced to look within. Everyone has their own story. We use this to create a personal design. We anticipate that these stories are often about enjoying in and around your own home. We design multifunctional houses where you can relax and that gives you energy. We increasingly need warmth and human contact, time to enjoy each other's company in our own home. We design many yoga and wellness areas, large cozy kitchens for endless gatherings with family and friends, for example. The current spirit of contemplation and attention also includes softer forms. Lots of elegant curves and natural shapes. We see that the connection with the outdoors is also very important. We bring a lot of greenery into the house, but also create a lot of views of the surroundings, the city skyline or the trees in the garden. Our interiors are inextricably linked to the building, the garden, the street, they fit together like puzzle pieces. Our goal is to make a design that makes you happy.”
