Palazzo Grassi, Venice, Italy
“If you go to Venice, it is nice to eat good food, do some tourist things, but also definitely visit the Palazzo Grassi. The former palace on the Grand Canal underwent a complete renovation when it came into the possession of the Fiat Group in 1973 under the leadership of Gianni Agnelli, who turned it into a visual arts exhibition building. From 2006 in the palazzo owned by the French businessman François Pinault. This billionaire and art patron had it redesigned by Japanese architect Tadao Ando to display his art collection.”
Taiko Bar, Conservatorium hotel, Amsterdam
“It used to be called Tunes, now Taiko. Nice cocktail bar, small, dark, with a nice smoking area for when I feel like having a cigar. We had our drinks there after installing the statue Self Portrait of a Dreamer on the museum square.”
Amazonico, London, England
“A restaurant with many palm trees, greenery and natural materials, a bit of a rainforest feeling. From Latin American cuisine you can expect dishes such as Peruvian sushi and grilled meat. After Madrid and London, Amazonico now also has a branch in Dubai. That turns out to be the newest place in town. "
Four Seasons Hotel Dubai, UAE
“Amazingly beautiful rooms, top service, everything arranged down to the last detail… I could spend a thousand and one nights there!”
Beach House Marbella, Spain
“Super good food and live entertainment. We saw the Gyspy Kings perform there and a fake Amy Winehouse. Very nice!"
