In December last year, GBTC shares were trading at net asset value. But since February 18, 2023, Grayscale has decided to trade these shares at a discount, which has reduced demand and led to the release of more than a hundred thousand shares. Analysts expect the number of shares released to increase in the coming months. If these stocks are bought up quickly, it could impact the Bitcoin price.
