The enormous peplum and sheer skirt were encrusted with no less than 190.000 crystals.

Cynthia Erivo proved that you don't need green makeup to pull off Elphaba Wicked to do justice. The actress, nominated for her role as the iconic Wicked Witch, appeared in a deep emerald green velvet gown by Louis Vuitton—a subtle, yet unmistakable nod to her character.
The custom creation featured sharp geometric details, a dramatic off-the-shoulder neckline, and a voluminous skirt. As if the dress wasn't striking enough, Erivo completed her look with a bold manicure in the same deep green hue.

Where most men opt for classic black or navy, Chalamet showed up in a butter yellow leather suit by Givenchy, designed by Sarah Burton. And although girlfriend Kylie Jenner was also in attendance, she skipped the red carpet and slipped straight into her seat in the front row.

Fernanda Torres made her Oscar debut in style. The Brazilian actress, nominated for Best Actress for her role in I'm still here, showed up in an elegant Chanel creation. Her look consisted of a sequined black top with long sleeves and a subtle mesh pattern, combined with a skirt of fringes and feathered details. A design where every detail was just right—not surprising when you know that some 450 hours of handwork went into it.
