The emergence

The idea for Dami arose when Daniëlle de Ruijter was furnishing her own house. She liked that completely free hand and during this design she was always looking for that one detail in a piece of furniture that makes it so unique. There she discovered how important details and use of materials are in furniture design. Dami was actually created from an eye for details and finishing, a stylish taste for materials and a unique and creative view on the design of furniture pieces.

Refined, rich materials

If the first design of a luxury piece of furniture is the flower, then the material is the stem that holds the flower up. In other words: the wrong materials can detract from a beautiful design, but the right materials complement and support it. Materials such as high-quality leather, bronze, marble and walnut often find their way into Dami's designs. Rich materials that appear powerful yet natural at the same time.

Warm colours

By combining clean lines of modern designs with soft colors in warm tones, Dami's luxurious furniture distinguishes itself from the coldness that is often associated with modern design. Think of colors such as beige, pearl and champagne as basic tones in combination with bronze and, for example, warm gray. Hard colors or black are only used to a small extent in the details, so Dami gives extra warmth to her collections with her choice of colors.

Ultimately, Dami distinguishes himself in the details. This is because no adjustments are made within her designs as the design process progresses. In other words: if a certain detail seems impossible to make, Dami makes it possible - no expense is spared.
