Since sitting on a terrace is not an option at the moment, a so-called food walk the perfect solution to do something fun with the nice weather. Even with Easter approaching, there is no reason to stay indoors. There are many great initiatives that have put together all kinds of different culinary city walks along the best dining spots in the Netherlands. Text: Fleur de Jong

Le Food Walk

Le Food Walk Amsterdam organizes five types food walks, so there is something for everyone. For example, you have one through Amsterdam East that is 6,5 kilometers long. This route passes 'De Kas' and 'House of Watt', among others. For avid walkers, Le Food Walk offers the 'LAWA', which is the abbreviation of Long Walk. The LAWA starts in Amsterdam East, goes through the Pijp and ends in the center. Nice extra; this food walk also has a vegetarian version.

East Side Easter Run

The organizers of the Eastside Easter Run have put together a culinary walk along six businesses in Amsterdam East especially for Easter. At each restaurant or bakery, the hiker is offered a culinary dish. This food walk will be organized on April 4 & 5 and a ticket can be purchased for €52,50. Tasty Walk

De food walk Fortunately, this is not just reserved for our capital. Tasty Walks organizes food walks throughout the Netherlands. The food walks organized by Tasty Walk take the walker past six food places. An advantage is that the route is not fixed and the walker can decide for himself in which order the eating places are visited.
