Kitchens without a middle ground

The designer kitchens from Culimaat from Berlicum are like art. But art in its most functional form: perfectly suited to the user's wishes. Culimaat has a showroom with only a handful of kitchens. But every design is a representation of countless ideas. Ideas about functionality, aesthetics, use of materials, style and details. The showroom does not provide a complete picture of what is available. There are also no custom kitchens. What does Culimaat do? The kitchen company stands for customization in the extreme, so specialized that there is no longer any size. Culimaat continually pushes the boundaries to ensure that kitchens meet customer wishes exactly: the possibilities are endless.

Culimaat has been around since 1985. Twan and Davy Swanenberg have inherited their father's keen eye for customer wishes and a nose for design. The kitchen store already received its first design award. Culimaat has now won the Dutch Kitchen & Bathroom Design Awards three times (2004, 2009, 2015) and in 2013 even the World Kitchen Design Award. In 2008, Twan and Davy took over their father's company and continued the line, but in their own unique way. This results in kitchens that fit perfectly with the user's life. Unconventional designs without compromise. Increasingly also in collaboration with well-known designers, such as Eric Kant, Eric Kuster, Bob Manders, Marcel Wolterinck and the designers of Studio Jan des Bouvrie.
