Astronomical summer began in the Northern Hemisphere on June 21, at 16.57:XNUMX PM to be precise. It's high time for long sultry summer evenings with a matching summer drink, of course. MASTERS lists some of the tastiest recipes. And then of course shake… not stirred.

Mojito

The Mojito has its origins in Cuba. The sweet drink may have originated there on the sugar plantations. Reportedly, this cocktail was originally intended as a medicine, which is a good excuse to perhaps consume more than one...

What you need: 30 ml white rum, two teaspoons of sugar, a lime wedge, 90 ml sparkling water, 15 ml lime juice, one sprig of mint, a cocktail muddler and ice, preferably crushed. Place the lime juice and sugar in a glass. Mash this thoroughly with a cocktail muddler. Crush the mint leaves to release the flavor and then put this in a glass. Then add the rum and sparkling water. Then fill the glass to the brim with ice.

pornstar martini

What you need for a fruity Pornstar martini is 30 ml vanilla vodka, 45 ml passion fruit juice, 5 ml lime juice, egg white and a cocktail shaker.

Add half the egg white and put it in the shaker. Then add 30 ml vanilla vodka, 45 ml passion fruit juice and 5 ml lime juice. Add some ice and shake. Shake until a small so-called frost layer forms. Finally, serve the drink in a chilled martini glass without ice. To top it all off, you can place a slice of passion fruit in the martini glass for garnish.

Scroppino

According to one story, this cocktail was created in the late 1970s when two brothers who owned a hotel accidentally ordered too large a shipment of vodka. In order to be able to sell this vodka to their customers, they experimented with various additions, after which the Scroppino – or in Italian sgroppino - originated.

What you need is: 100 grams of lemon sorbet ice cream, 50 ml of cold prosecco, 15 ml of vodka from the freezer and 15 ml of ice-cold Limoncello. Scoop the ice cream into a large mixing bowl. Beat the ice cream by hand or an electric whisk. Then add the other ingredients one by one and end with the prosecco. It is important; work quickly until it is even. Then pour the mixture into chilled glasses and garnish your creation with a sprig of mint or sprig of rosemary, if desired.
