The Karl Lagerfeld | Macau

That Karl Lagerfeld was more than a fashion designer is proven by his first – and only – hotel project: The Karl Lagerfeld in Macau. Here his creative universe comes to life in a five-star hotel that bears his signature down to the smallest detail. From the architecture to the furniture and artworks: everything was personally designed by Lagerfeld himself.

Ritz Paris | Paris

For Gabrielle Chanel, the Ritz was more than a hotel – it was My house. From the 30s onwards, she found refuge here, just a stone's throw from her fashion house on the rue Cambon. In 1954, she moved in permanently and lived there until her death. That deep bond lives on today in the Suite Coco Chanel, where the character of the iconic designer is palpable in every detail.

The suite, overlooking the Place Vendôme, is said to have inspired the famous Chanel No. 5 bottle. Price tag to spend the night here? €32.000. 

Armani Hotel | Milan

Giorgio Armani was personally involved in every detail of his hotel in the heart of Milan. From the architecture to the furnishings, everything exudes his signature style. 

On the seventh floor are the Armani/Ristorante and the Bamboo Bar, where you can look out over the city while enjoying refined Italian dishes or a carefully mixed cocktail. Even the spa offers panoramic views of the historic center, making the experience that little bit more special…

The St. Regis | New York

The St. Regis New York opened its doors in 1904 and is considered one of the city's oldest and most iconic hotels. Originally built by business magnate John Jacob Astor IV as New York's answer to the grand European hotels, it still exudes the grandeur of the Belle Époque.

It is therefore no coincidence that the Dior Suite is located here – a tribute to the Parisian fashion house. The suite, over 150 square meters in size, is inspired by Christian Dior's studio in Paris; white walls with moldings, high ceilings, crystal chandeliers and French doors with original wrought iron balconies.

Hotel Vermelho | Melides

In the Portuguese village of Melides, Christian Louboutin opened his very first hotel: Red, named after the Portuguese word for 'red'. What began as a chance encounter with the village during a car ride, grew into a personal project in which the renowned designer brings together his love of design, heritage and travel.

The hotel has just 13 rooms and was designed in collaboration with architect Madalena Caiado. The exterior is modest, but behind the doors an explosion of color, texture and culture unfolds.
