Atelier Munro defines 'the new workwear'

The mission of Atelier Munro in Amsterdam is to create a made-to-measure wardrobe for every man that allows him to express his personality and individual style. The atelier recently partnered with Michelin-starred restaurant RIJKS.

The mission of the Amsterdam Atelier Munro? Creating a made-to-measure wardrobe for every man that allows him to give substance to his personality and individual style. It recently joined forces with Michelin star restaurant RIJKS®. 

In recent seasons, Atelier Munro has worked with several national and international names, including art historian Paul Rem, actor Nasrdin Dchar, conductor Gustavo Gimeno, journalist and writer Arno Kantelberg and Fomule E/1 driver Nyck de Vries. For the latest collaboration, Atelier Munro joined forces with RIJKS® and, in close collaboration with Executive Chef Joris Bijdendijk, created the front of house men's clothing for the reopening of the restaurant.

New restaurant experience

On November 25, 2023, prior to the celebration of its tenth anniversary, RIJKS® reopened its completely new concept. After a major renovation, Executive Chef Joris Bijdendijk and his team offer a new restaurant experience with a refreshing open layout and surprising dishes and combinations. How about: 'roasted roosters with Dutch shrimp sambal' or 'Judas ear with cranberry, egg yolk and curry leaf'.

Atelier Munro designed the men's clothing for the front of house and worked closely with the restaurant to define the new work clothing in a way that was also functional and aligned with both brands. Inspired by the restaurant's philosophy of elevating pure and simple ingredients, Atelier Munro's clothing draws on modest fabrics and silhouettes and then elevates them through textile technology, design and impeccable craftsmanship. From now on you can admire the result in the form of an exceptional 'utility suit' and an accompanying refined knitted T-shirt on all male members of the front of house in the restaurant.
