And the Most Brilliant Player is… GASSAN puts outstanding performers in the spotlight

As official celebration partner, GASSAN brought refined elegance to the KNVB Futsal Cup this year. During The Finals in Rotterdam, the brand crowned the Most Brilliant Players.

With GASSAN as the official celebration partner, the KNVB Futsal Cup was given a refined shine once again this year. During The Finals in Rotterdam, the Amsterdam-based family business played a dual role: as the official timekeeper and as the namesake of the 'Most Brilliant Player' awards. 

The KNVB Futsal Cup is considered the annual highlight of the national indoor football cup tournament, in which the best teams in the Netherlands compete for the title. 

According to KNVB Futsal Program Manager Mohamed Attaibi, the partnership with GASSAN has become a fixture: “With GASSAN, we are adding extra luster to the KNVB Futsal Cup for the second season in a row. With the 'Most Brilliant Player' awards, we put individual class in the spotlight, while their role as official timekeeper contributes to the quality and prestige of the event.”

On the field, it ultimately revolved around the finals themselves. In the men's competition, Tigers Roermond and HV Hoorn faced each other, while Os Lusitanos and FC Marlène battled it out in the women's. Karim Mossaoui and goalkeeper Anna Reitsma were honored as Most Brilliant Players after the event. 

In addition to the sporting program, the social aspect also received attention. Under the theme 'Participation', the KNVB collaborated with the Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur, which supports children for whom participating in sports is not a matter of course. A portion of the event's proceeds was linked to this initiative.
