Always wanted a Louis Vuitton bag? You can eat this one

Always wanted a Louis Vuitton bag, but spending a few thousand euros on leather feels a bit excessive? The fashion house now has a surprising alternative. For Easter, Louis Vuitton is releasing a bag for €250. A small caveat: it's made of chocolate...

Fashion houses have been exploring new ways to translate their iconic designs into other worlds for years. Louis Vuitton decided to keep things sweet, literally, this time, collaborating with pastry chef Maxime Frédéric once again.

The collection's centerpiece is the Chocolate Egg Bag. This creation debuted last year and is inspired by a handbag Nicolas Ghesquière designed for the 2019 Louis Vuitton show. For Easter 2026, the bag returns in a more playful version, naturally featuring the famous monogram.

The bag consists of two dark chocolate sections that open like a real handbag. Inside, a filling of roasted nuts, candied fruit, and hazelnut praline is hidden. The handles are made of white chocolate, and even a bright yellow zipper is included. As if that weren't enough, the bag also contains a hidden milk chocolate bar with hazelnut praline and lemon caramel.

For those who find a full chocolate handbag a bit ambitious for coffee, there's also a box of six Mini Chocolate Egg Bags (€65). These smaller options play with different flavor combinations, such as milk chocolate with vanilla caramel and hazelnut or peanut praline. There's also a dark chocolate version with crunchy chocolate praline and caramel.

Chocolate Chicks

The Chocolate Chicks are also returning. A €35 box contains three chicks with the familiar monogram for eyes.

The Easter collection will be available in the windows of Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric in the Louis Vuitton boutique at Marina Bay Sands from March 13, 2026.
