5x horror films for the ultimate spooky night

Next week, October 31, is officially Halloween. In addition to America and the United Kingdom, the festival has also gained popularity in the Netherlands. If you don't feel like dressing up in a Halloween costume but want an evening with a spooky touch, MASTERS recommends five horror films to binge this weekend.

The Nun ll 

In a sequel to the worldwide hit, Sister Irene must once again confront the demon Valak. In the year 1956 in France, a priest is murdered and the evil continues to spread. Valak has taken possession of Irene's good friend Maurice. She has no choice but to intervene. This time, however, she does get help from a nun in training.

Saw X 

This brand new American horror film from 2023 is directed by Kevin Greutert. The film tells the story of ailing serial killer John Kramer who travels to Mexico to undergo a risky and experimental procedure in the hope of a cure. John soon discovers that the entire operation is a scam and involves the person responsible in one of his deadly games.

Saw X is now in theaters.

The Exorcist: Believer

This year marks exactly fifty years since one of the most chilling horror films premiered. Blumhouse and director David Gordon Green revived the film this year.  

Since his pregnant wife died in an earthquake in Haiti twelve years ago, Victor Fielding has had to raise their daughter Angela alone. But when Angela and her friend Katherine go missing in the woods and reappear three days later without having any idea what happened to them, a series of events sets in that force the desperate Victor to confront him. with evil.

Five Nights at Freddy's
