The Dropout
This podcast is about the life of Elizabeth Holmes and her company Theranos. The story is based on the rise and fall of the young Silicon Valley entrepreneur who was first called the 'successor to Steve Jobs'. In its heyday, she raised almost €1 billion in investments from, among others, the Walton family (Walmart) and media tycoon Rupert Murdoch. In the podcast series The Dropout, former employees, investors and patients talk about their experience with the company and the enormous damage Holmes caused. The Theranos founder was charged with several criminal offenses, all of which she pleaded 'not guilty'.

The popular Netflix series inventing Anna delves into the true story of Anna Delvey, also known as Anna Sorokin. The young woman poses as a wealthy German heiress who wants to set up her Anna Delvey Foundation, an exclusive society, in New York City. She worms her way into New York high society and manages to attract several major investors. The only thing Anna doesn't say: she has no fortune of €60 million, is not a German heiress and hops from hotel to hotel with borrowed money...
Swindled: The Gamechanger
Australian Belle Gibson fooled not only her hundreds of thousands of followers, but also Australia's most prestigious publishers, Silicon Valley tech companies and even her own community by telling her that multiple organs had been affected by cancer, but that she had self-treated effectively through diet, exercise and alternative therapies. Gibson is the author of the app The Whole Pantry and the subsequent cookbook. In 2015, she admitted that she did not have any form of cancer.
The Puppet Master
