Many museums showed their collections online, but what could be more fun than wandering through a museum for hours and seeing the works in real life? For example, see if you can discover all the images on the sculpture route in Amsterdam South or a hidden message in a work of art by Banksy. ARTZUID | Amsterdam

The Lawas and food walks seem to be far behind us, but we don't want to deprive you of this fun route. During four months you will encounter seventy statues on the avenues in Amsterdam South. Along a 5-kilometre route there are works by internationally renowned artists as well as young talent. The route runs along Apollolaan and Minervalaan with extensions to Museumplein, among others. In addition to the exhibited images ARTZUID also a side program with guided tours, artist talks, lectures and an educational program. Participating artists include Joseph Klibansky, Klaas Gubbels, Ronald A. Westerhuis and Carin Scholten.

On the lines of Jan Jansen, 60 years of shoes and Dutch Design in Museum JAN | Amstelveen

This exhibition shows the work of Jan Jansen, or 'The crazy shoe maker' as Vogue Italia affectionately calls him. For more than 60 years he has been a master in colorful, extravagant and groundbreaking shoe design. Jansen became world famous with his technical constructions that play with gravity, such as the floating heel. Exuberant use of color is also characteristic of his shoes. He also designed the Bamboo Shoe in 1973, a shoe with a high wedge heel made of bamboo. The shoe designer's work is seen as a source of inspiration for generations after him. With the exhibition, Museum JAN also offers a platform to young talent and shows the cross-generational influence of the work of Jan Jansen.

Banksy Laugh Now | Amsterdam

There is little certainty about the true identity of British artist Banksy. Those curious about the work of this mysterious artist can view an exhibition with 50 original works by Banksy in the Moco Museum. The British artist's work is mainly characterized by catchy and humorous images, in combination with slogans. In his street art, Banksy combines graffiti with a characteristic stencil technique. Banksy's work can normally be found in various European cities, but also outside Europe such as in the US. The collection in the Moco Museum includes the iconic works Laugh Now, girl with balloon and Kate Moss that come from private collections.

Art Museum The Hague | The Hague

For the real fans of it Eurovision Song Contest this is the ultimate opportunity. In addition to a new exhibition program, Kunstmuseum The Hague is showing no fewer than nine Eurovision Song Contest outfits worn by the female presenters and Dutch artists. The exhibition shows, among other things, the dark blue design by David Laport that Nikkie de Jager wore during the first semi-final and the two-piece ensemble consisting of sequins by presenter Edsilia Rombley. Anyone who wants to see the beautiful works of the Dutch designers should be quick, because they will be on display until July 11.
