First Contact: Lost Tribe of the Amazon

Indigenous tribes from the Amazon rainforest have lived in isolation for years, without contact with other tribes or people. An anthropologist takes up the challenge and ventures deep into the Amazon rainforest to investigate whether the discovery of a long-hidden tribe means the end for the completely isolated other tribes. The anthropologist visits the boys Xani and Shirimaku and their families, to discover how the families live and have lived. He also receives answers to the questions why they lived in isolation for so long and how they came out of isolation.
