Harry Quebert, played by Patrick Dempsey, is a 34-year-old writer. He meets 15-year-old Nola Kellergan and the two soon have a love affair. One day Nola goes missing and from then on the story alternates between the present and the past. Nola is found murdered 30 years later in the garden of her beloved Harry and he immediately tries – together with his student Marcus Goldman – to prove his innocence. This series is not only incredibly exciting, it is also moving and surprising. Tip: if you start this, do it on the weekend. You can't stop watching anymore.
