Eric van Loo
On Tuesday, September 15, the first evening will be kicked off by none other than Erik van Loo, Patron Cuisinier of Restaurant Parkheuvel in Rotterdam. He has no fewer than 2 Michelin stars and will prepare an extensive Italian 4-course menu. Of course, all the delicious food is served by the famous singing staff of Pasta e Basta.
Parkheuvel
Restaurant Parkheuvel ** is located not far away from the Rotterdam Euromast, right on the Maas. The round building designed by architect Klunder has undergone several tasteful metamorphoses in recent years. Erik van Loo grew up as a butcher's son in Mechelen, South Limburg. During his career he worked at the Prinses Juliana culinary (training) institute (at the time **), as chef de cuisine in Vreugd & Rust (at the time *), Duurstede (at the time * ) and De Zwethheul (at the time **). Erik is known for his sauces and cooks classically with a modern presentation.
