Creators, Influencers, Vloggers; Nowadays we know many names for successful social media personalities. Whatever name you use, one thing is certain; many know exactly how they can earn a pretty penny with their reach. Forbes recently published a list of the most successful creators.
5. Charli D'Amelio
At just 19 years old, D'Amelio almost knew € 22 million to collect. The TikTok star is mainly known for her dance videos on the platform. According to Forbes, she is the best female creator on TikTok and she has major deals with brands such as Prada. D'Amelio is currently busy filming the third season of her reality show on Hulu.
4. Rhett & Link
The comedy duo – Rhett James McLaughlin and Charles Lincoln “Link” Neal III – started posting YouTube videos in 2006 and eventually developed a company, Mythical, which creates several YouTube series and podcasts and invests in other creators with their so-called Creator Accelerator Fund. According to Forbes, the two have a total of 51 million followers and their income this year amounts to approx € 33 million.
3. Jake Paul
Jake Paul is not only a professional boxer, but with twenty million subscribers one of the largest American YouTubers and of course recently the boyfriend of skater Jutta Leerdam. Paul was previously named one of the highest-paid athletes of 2022. He secured a sponsorship with the energy drink Celsius, founded the sports betting app 'Betr' which raised $50 million and signed a contract this year. MMA contract to fight in a new pay-per-view division. Revenue, follower count and average engagement put Jake Paul in fourth place on the list.
2. Olajide Olatunji (KSI)
In 2009, KSI began posting videos on YouTube commenting on video games. He has now become an athlete himself, a boxer to be precise. Besides his sport, Olajide is busy with music; he will release two singles this year. Forbes placed him in second place on the list and estimates his income this year at € 23 million.
1. Jimmy Donaldson (MrBeast)
At the top is Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast. With a total of over 300 million followers, MrBeast's fan base is almost as large as the US population. With 78 million in revenue, an average involvement of 9.8 percent and a so-called entrepreneurship score of ''4'', Forbes put him at number one.
