Maserati works towards a fully electric range

Maserati will release its first electric model this year: the GranTurismo Folgore. Future Maserati drivers can choose from three engine variants; the GranTurismo Modena, the GranTurismo Trofeo and the most powerful variant, the GranTurismo Folgore. The Folgore is a fully electric version that consists of three e-motors of no less than 761 hp. The Folgore is also distinguished by its considerable torque of 1.350 Nm.

The Folgore is the only one of the three variants to have a closed front bumper and the exhaust pipes were not attached to the car. The Folgore also has an 800V charging system, which is derived from advanced technical solutions from Formula E. What has also been developed from Formula E is the drivetrain of the Folgore.
