KLAFS and Studio F. A. Porsche join forces: meet the S11

KLAFS ensures you stay warm this winter. With inventive ingenuity, originality, dedication and first-class craftsmanship, the brand has been perfecting sauna bathing for almost a century. To create a new and iconic sauna, KLAFS joined forces with Studio F. A. Porsche. The result is the S11 sauna.

With the aim of creating a new and iconic sauna, the brand joined forces with Studio FA Porsche. It resulted in the S11 sauna. 

CLAP stands for innovation, design and quality like no other manufacturer in the industry. As the world market leader in saunas and with more than 800 employees, the brand has built and installed more than 240.000 KLAFS saunas worldwide for almost a century.

To create a new sauna, the brand joined forces with a partner who knows what design classics are at their core: Studio FA Porsche. With the Porsche 911, the founder – Ferdinand Alexander Porsche – designed one of the most famous sports cars. To this day, his principles and signature continue to be reflected in the designs.

Limited Edition 

The aim of the collaboration between KLAFS and Studio FA Porsche was to create an iconically designed classic that will fascinate people with its unique aesthetics for decades to come. This has been quite successful: the brand new S11 offers a sensory journey between heat, light, color and sound and, according to the company, guarantees a magic wellness moment. As a sauna bather you can choose from different ceremonies: Pulse of Nature, Magic Blue Sea, Night and Light, Relaxing Amber and Colorful Senses. 

Adam Bieta, Senior Designer at Studio FA Porsche, explains: “Light and sound sequences are uniquely combined with the design of floating wooden slats to allow the user to relax into a dissolving sense of space.”

The frameless glass facade gives the cabin extra spaciousness. The rounded elements, the transitions between the loungers and the walls and the hidden technology provide a purist aesthetic. The sauna S11 is available as a free-standing version with a stately, high-quality outer wall, which is painted in several layers in the metallic color 'champagne', or as a custom built-in version.
