The 10.000 square meter showroom in Amstelveen offers space for more than 250 high-end brands in the field of furniture, accessories, lighting and home textiles. Together with the partners, Co van der Horst forms a 'one-stop-shop' where you can also go for art, bathrooms, kitchens, tiles, parquet floors, image & sound and custom fire solutions. The talented interior consultants, architects and decorators work closely with professionals from the industry to provide complete peace of mind, from design to delivery and installation.

A rich history

The origins of the family business lie in textiles. Great-grandfather Co van der Horst set out as a peddler from 1905 onwards with a backpack full of high-quality home textiles. He was a striking figure in the streets of Nieuwer-Amstel (Amstelveen) with his smooth chat, open look and characteristic bow tie. Business went well, so the backpack soon became a dog cart and later a horse and cart. When Co started his trade, he could not have imagined that it would be the start of a family business that still bears his name more than a century later. The fourth generation is now at the helm and Co van der Horst is a household name in the design world: thousands of square meters of residential design under one roof, the title of Purveyor to the Royal Household, international clientele, exclusive collaborations with award-winning designers and of course still a love for textiles.
