AZ immortalizes victory in 31 unique Championship Rings

A remarkable achievement sometimes calls for an equally remarkable keepsake. For AZ, the KNVB Beker victory therefore received a personal translation into 31 unique Championship Rings by TROPHY BY GASSAN. Each ring tells, in subtle fashion, the story of both the club and the player who wears it.

Thirty-one Championship Rings were created for the full AZ squad. The design contains various details that reference the club and the won KNVB Beker. Each player received a personal copy, engraved with his own name and shirt number.

Dustin Huisman, Founder of TROPHY BY GASSAN, is proud of the result: "For AZ we were able to create these unique Championship Rings after winning the KNVB Beker. A special achievement, preserved forever. I am very proud of the final result."

The team's collective success is thus given its own meaning for each player. It was precisely this personal element that made the project special, according to Huisman. "Winning a cup is something you do together, but every player experiences such a moment in his own way. That is exactly why we find it special that we were able to translate the collective success into a ring that is at the same time deeply personal."

A festive moment in Amsterdam

The official presentation took place at HOUSE of GASSAN in Amsterdam. For the occasion, a special presentation was created, with the Championship Rings at the centre and the players able to reflect together on their achievement.

For TROPHY BY GASSAN too, it was a special project. Huisman: "It is of course fantastic to be able to seal such a special achievement for a club like AZ with a Championship Ring."

Who knows what reason there will be to celebrate something great at the end of the season

The rings bring together club identity, personal achievement and the story behind the victory in one jewel. This means the KNVB Beker win remains not only part of the club's history, but each player also receives a tangible reminder of his own contribution to it.

And perhaps this will not be the only series. Huisman looks cautiously ahead: "AZ has made a good start to the new season. Who knows what reason there will be to celebrate something great at the end of the season."
