Lengers Yachts opens office in Knokke-Heist

Lengers Yachts, the exclusive dealer of luxury Italian and French motor yachts, will open a branch in Knokke-Heist from July 1 to manage the Belgian market.

The Belgian Philippe Van de Ryse will become the Sales Director for Lengers Yachts in Belgium and will therefore take over the daily management of the office in Knokke-Heist Het Zoute. CEO Bas Lengers: “In Belgium you have to be Belgian to achieve something, it's about knowing people. With his extensive network and work experience in Knokke and far beyond, Philippe is the right man in the right place.” Lengers has managed to secure a building on the Zeedijk for the establishment, an absolute prime location in the prosperous seaside resort, “a place where everyone passes by”. The doors in Knokke will open from July 1, 2021 and the arriving Belgian clientele can look forward to a warm welcome. Lengers: “Contacts are made there and interest is aroused, then the customer comes to Muiden or goes directly with us to the shipyard in France or Italy for a test sail.”

As a first, the Bluegame BGX60 will be festively presented this summer. The BGX60 is a follow-up to the enormous success of the BGX70, of which thirteen units have already been sold. She is the first powerboat to definitively compete with flybridge yachts. During 2021, the Sanlorenzo 90A and the Bluegame BG72 – firsts Cannes Yachting Festival –, and Prestige 690 – Lengers Boatshow 2021 – April 2021 will also be released. Not only is Lengers Yachts expanding its portfolios, in addition to the new location in Knokke-Heist, an office in Munich will also be opened later this year. In addition, a branch in Helsinki is also planned. Many companies and sectors have had a bad year, but corona has not had any impact on the luxury yacht sector. Lengers: “We did last year very good and have also started 2021 excellently. We have already recorded a huge number of transactions. Now that we are also going to focus intensively on the Belgian market, it is expected that requests will only increase.”
