For a long time, the slogan of Las Vegas was: 'What happens here, stays here.' A dive into the city full of neon, glitter and glamour. SLEEPING | MGM Grand

With more than 6.800 rooms MGM Grand the largest hotel in America and also one of the largest in the world. The unparalleled service and luxury you are immersed in will make you feel like a true celebrity. The hotel can be recognized by its green color, art deco appearance and the fifteen-meter-high bronze lion Leo that stands in front of it, the symbol of the MGM film studios. The hotel consists of a main building with thirty floors and 751 suites. On the two top floors you will find the exclusive SKYLOFTS, complete with its own elevator, personal butler and a gigantic entertainment system. MGM Grand calls itself 'The Entertainment Authority': here you can enjoy performances by the world's best artists (such as Cirque du Soleil), culinary creations from celebrity chefs, and with more than two and a half thousand slot machines you can spend the rest of your entertain life.

FOOD | Twist by Pierre Gagnaire

French cuisine legend Pierre Gagnaire's only restaurant in the US, Twist, is located on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas. There you take a seat at high tables while enjoying a beautiful view of the city. There is room for only 72 guests, which creates an intimate atmosphere. None other than Adam Tihany, one of the biggest stars in the field of interior architecture, is responsible for the design. You can order à la carte here, but I recommend opting for the three-course menu or the extravagant six-course version that the restaurant is known for.

GOING OUT | The Chandelier

Nothing beats a drink The Candlestick at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. This club consists of three floors: a classic cocktail bar upstairs, a trendy lounge in the middle and a dance area on the ground floor. Each level and bar serves its own specialty cocktails. Level 1.5 has the most unique potions, such as the Verbena. This 'secret' cocktail is not on the menu, but as soon as you mention the name, the waitress immediately knows what you mean. The cocktail including tequila comes with a very special flower. You have to chew this, which immediately sharpens your senses.

SHOPPING | The Crystals

Enjoy stylish shopping The Crystals in Las Vegas. On an area of 46.000 square meters you will find 32 designer brands, 8 restaurants and a large number of bars. All under one roof. The modern architecture of the building, designed by Studio Libeskind, fits perfectly with the high-end products sold here.

DO | The Spa at Encore

Into this spa Wynn Las Vegas has been awarded the Forbes Five-star Award and features 51 luxurious treatment rooms, inspired by the natural elements of sunlight, water and limestone. With the addition of two movement studios offering spinning, yoga and private meditation classes, The Spa at Encore is an idyllic retreat. Experience some of the best massage techniques with a soothing Encore Escape treatment. The experience begins with detoxification using spicy Thai compress cloths and heated stones placed on the body to soothe. Hawaiian Lomi Lomi techniques then ensure that all tension disappears from the body, after which a moisturizing heated cloth is wrapped around the body. Finally, you will enjoy a traditional Indian scalp and skin massage with Shirodhara oil, which provides an energetic and refreshed feeling.
