Anyone who thought that doing business is limited to boardrooms and spreadsheets has not yet experienced Necker Island. In June, Harco van Uden, CEO of ExperienceTravel, is once again organizing an extremely exclusive Business Getaway to Sir Richard Branson's private residence.
Necker Island is anything but ordinary. Think swaying palm trees, pearly white beaches, and a striking presence of flamingos and sea turtles. The entire setting has been completely shaped by Branson, with sustainability as the common thread. Not excess for excess's sake, but a refined form of luxury where nature and comfort complement each other.
You feel that philosophy in everything. Or as Branson himself once put it: “Necker Island is my home and favorite hideaway. I invite you to explore this idyllic island paradise for yourself and to be inspired by its beauty.” An invitation normally reserved for only a select few, but which comes tangibly close during this journey.
Prior to the stay on Necker Island, the journey begins in a place that may be less well-known, but is at least as intriguing. First, we set course for the Caribbean island of Sint-Eustatius, where we will spend the night at the Golden Rock Resort. This remarkable resort was founded by former rose grower Peter Barnhoorn, who brought his entrepreneurial vision to life here amidst tropical nature and sweeping views. During a personal presentation, he shares his story and perspective on entrepreneurship, an inspiring kick-off to what is to come.

This seven-day trip is not just about relaxing, although there is ample opportunity for that. The program is structured around entrepreneurship, impact, and vision. You will engage in conversation with international thinkers, exchange ideas with like-minded individuals, and be presented with new perspectives that you won't easily find in a meeting room. Between the substantive sessions, there is room for informal encounters, culinary surprises, and activities that bring you closer to the local area.
Interest is high and the number of places is limited. For the edition departing on June 9, 2026, only two places are currently still available. Want to know more about this unique trip? View here the details.
