The spirit of earth and sea

Staying true to the Black Bay aesthetic, the Black Bay Chrono model has made the famous "Snowflake" hands - a brand signature for diving watches since 1969 - its own, in a version honed to ensure optimal legibility on the curved dial. Inspired by the first generation of TUDOR chronographs, there is a 45-minute counter and a date window at 6 o'clock. The recognizable features of the Black Bay are preserved in a 41-millimeter-diameter steel case, refined by the ingenious grinding of the lower part of the sapphire crystal and a displaced movement. Typical of the meticulous attention to detail that characterizes the brand, the design of the stainless steel pushers is inspired by the very first generation of TUDOR chronographs. A fixed bezel of stainless steel with a tachymetric scale insert of black anodized aluminum completes the distinguished look of this sporty new chronograph.

TUDOR Black Bay

The name Black Bay Fifty-Eight 18K and Black Bay Fifty-Eight 925 is of course a reference to the noble metal of the case, but also to 1958, the year when the first TUDOR diver's watch waterproof to 200 meters, reference 7924 or "Big Crown," was introduced. Among other aesthetic nods to this historic watch, this model offers a 39 mm diameter case in keeping with the characteristic proportions of the 1950s. They are the first TUDOR dive watches made of 18-karat yellow gold or silver and are offered with an open back case.
