The spirit of earth and sea

Staying true to the Black Bay aesthetic, the Black Bay Chrono model incorporates the famous “Snowflake” hands – a brand signature for dive watches since 1969 – in a version sharpened to ensure optimal legibility on the domed dial. Inspired by the first generation of TUDOR chronographs, there is a 45-minute counter and a date window at 6 o'clock. The recognizable features of the Black Bay are preserved in a steel case with a diameter of 41 millimeters, refined by the ingenious cut of the lower part of the sapphire crystal and a repositioned movement. Typical of the meticulous attention to detail that characterizes the brand, the design of the stainless steel pushers is inspired by the very first generation of TUDOR chronographs. A fixed bezel in stainless steel with a tachymetric scale insert in black anodized aluminum completes the distinguished appearance of this sporty new chronograph.

TUDOR Black Bay

The name Black Bay Fifty-Eight 18K and Black Bay Fifty-Eight 925 is of course a reference to the precious metal of the case, but also to 1958, the year in which the first TUDOR diver's watch was waterproof to 200 meters, reference 7924 or “ Big Crown,” was introduced. Among other aesthetic nods to this historic watch, this model offers a 39 mm diameter case in keeping with the characteristic proportions of the 1950s. They are the first TUDOR diving watches made in 18 carat yellow gold or silver and are offered with an open back lid.
