The Matthew Passion is considered the favorite composition in the Netherlands during the Passion period. Conceived by Johann Sebastian Bach, the piece tells the Passion of Christ in which symbolism plays a major role. Bach wrote specific roles for both instruments and soloists. The narrator takes you, the audience, through the story and is interspersed by the choir. The concert can be attended this Sunday, April 9 in the evening as well as in the afternoon.

Rather fancy some action during the Easter season? For years, the so-called Easter races at Circuit Zandvoort have been the kickoff of the racing season. According to organizers, the races on April 8 and 9 are full of motorsport spectacle. The races are run by various racing classes from the DNRT Clubsport series.
