LOFT Interiors designs high-end residences The Mayor

The Mayor in Amstelveen is under construction and the high-end residential location in Amstelveen is already starting to take real shape. Construction company De Nijs engaged LOFT Interiors to furnish the Garden Apartments, Top-Apartments and Penthouses and talked to Natascha Mom, owner of the company.Text: Patrick Stoffer

With great knowledge and experience of interior design and a creative team, but above all with feeling. "An interior must be right and immediately give you that feeling of home, even when you are visiting."

"Always striking the right chord, there is no trick to that. We are mainly guided by the house, its location and the wishes of the people who are going to live there. I listen carefully, watch and feel. In this case, what does The Mayor and her residents deserve? There are always three themes that recur in our interiors; Purity, Balance and Elegance. Purity stands for individual and pure, a minimalist design that gives statements space. Balance is the continuous search for balance in color and light, grand and intimate. Finally, a LOFT interior always has a feminine touch through elegant shapes, warmth and seductive art."

Natascha talks passionately about her craft. That she trained as a prima ballerina is reflected in the expressive way she talks, the creativity with which she designs and the worlds she brings together. Not those of music and movement, but those of space and atmosphere, color, shape and light. What she does, she does out of passion to make beautiful things that make people happy. "In that, the developer and I found each other. We both have an eye for detail and we strive for the highest achievable."

From dream to reality

"I understand that people find it difficult to hand over something as personal as the decorating and styling. I would have too. But how many times do I hear 'this is more beautiful than I would have dreamed of myself.' We have a wonderful profession with the power to surprise."
