Exclusive The Phantom of the Opera suite bookable for one night

Fans of The Phantom of the Opera beware: on one summer night in July, you can stay overnight at the historic Palais Garnier. In honor of the 35th anniversary of the world's long-running musical, the godsend can be booked for a surprising amount. Lose yourself in the place that inspired the masterpiece.
Thibout Chabotot

Palais Garnier in Paris opened in 1875 and was the inspiration for French writer Gaston Lerouw's The Pantom of the Opera. 35 years after the musical first appeared on the stage, the best and most exclusive place in the theater will be transformed for one night into a majestic suite, with a view of the theater. Normally this Box of Honour is reserved only for special guests, but for one night, ordinary citizens can also step into the theater's best spot.

The room decorated with gold and red features a king-size bed surrounded by artwork reminiscent of its opulent history. From your bed you are within a few steps on the red sofa overlooking the theater centered on the magnificent stage of Palais Garnier.

But it doesn't stop with just a key to the suite; a full program can be counted on. For example, the lucky ones can step into hidden areas of the theater that have rarely been seen, access is given to private archives of the opera and a visit to the underground mythical lake that was home to the Phantom takes place. And then, if you're not already upside down from all the impressions, the two phans are also present as VIP guests at an exclusive performance performed by the artists of the Paris Opera Academy.

The one-of-a-kind stay for two is available for one night, on Sunday, July 16, 2023. For this godsend, you only need to tap €37, in honor of the Box of Honour number. For a chance to win this overnight stay, you must submit a request on rental platform Airbnb.
