It is an elegant chronograph with a design reminiscent of historical models with a touch of modern flair added. The four new chronographs have a refined and modern look, inspired by the pure lines of the original TAG Heuer Carrera. The fact that the slim bezel in steel does not feature a tachymeter scale creates a refined and crisp look that is in line with the unforgettable Heuer Carrera with silver dial that debuted in 1963. Like the original, the new Carrera's have two pushers to operate the chronograph and two subdials on the dial.
The new Carreras are available with dials executed in black, blue with sunburst motif, anthracite gray and silver. In addition, the subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock always have a hypnotic effect.

The small seconds are positioned at 6 o'clock above a discreet and practical date indicator. The beating heart of this timeless TAG Heuer Carrera is the brand's patented automatic movement, Calibre Heuer 02. Models with black and blue dials are presented on a sleek integrated steel bracelet. The corners of the outer and inner links are rounded for a smoother appearance and the strap is thinner than usual for greater comfort. The two-tone version with a silver dial and rose gold hands and also the model with a deep anthracite-gray dial are paired with a luxurious brown alligator leather strap. The screwed sapphire case back offers a view of the innovative movement and the rose gold-tone rotor.

The new Carrera's with the Calibre Heuer 02 movement display their avant-garde, automatic movement through the transparent case back. The Heuer 02 automatic caliber is built in the in-house manufacture in Chevenez, Switzerland.

That former TAG Heuer CEO Jack Heuer harbored a deep love of industrial design is decisive for the Carrera's appearance. Jack Heuer introduced the chronograph he designed in 1963 and named the watch after an illustrious car race through Mexico. The new, reinterpreted models bring back into the limelight the elegant details Jack Heuer introduced decades ago. The uncluttered three-dimensionality of the original dial with its three subdials allowed the chronograph to be read at a glance. At the time, the Carrera was a groundbreaking design that is now given new impetus.
