HIT IT connects sports and entertainment

Next Saturday, October 29, the first edition of HIT IT will take place in Ahoy Rotterdam. A brand new sports and entertainment event. A full evening program packed with spectacular music and dance shows, (kick)boxing matches and performances by celebrity guests that transform the ring and stage into one stage. Including world heavyweight kickboxing champion Rico Verhoeven and Hesdy Gerges. English Eurovision Song Contest revelation Sam Ryder, Kris Kross Amsterdam and Emma Heesters will perform, interspersed with spectacular dance shows by creative director Timor Steffens and his ensemble of dancers.

An iconic duo

The live stream will feature live commentary by an iconic and expert duo. Koert Westerman, with his years of experience as a sports commentator of soccer, darts and boxing, among others, is the perfect person for Hit It. A cheerful note is not foreign to him. The view of an expert by experience will be filled in by kickboxing legend Ernesto Hoost. Ernesto became known primarily for winning many titles in kickboxing, including the K1 Grand Prix in Tokyo four times. Hesdy: "This is my last fight and I'm going all in. I don't have to be concerned with winning or losing. Rico is not going to get it for free".

Youth

The minimum age has been lowered to 12, allowing young people to attend Rico's fight for the first time: "In recent months we received many requests from parents and young people themselves whether they could attend the event. After consulting with everyone involved, we came to the conclusion that this really just had to happen. My fan base consists of many young people, Hesdy works with young people and all the artists who perform also have many young fans, so we made the decision and hope to make many young people happy," said Verhoeven.

Entertainment

Presenting the show are singer EliZe and comedian Jandino Asporaat. In addition to the aforementioned artists, the entertainment will be supplemented by the spectacular Romy Monteiro and Rico Greene. They will do this under the direction of choreographer and creative director Timor Steffens. In addition, visitors will be entertained with kiss-cams, Ring Speaker Gerard Ekdom and with their admission ticket throughout the evening they will have a chance to win special prizes that will be raffled off among the audience. In short, a full evening program packed with sensational sports and entertainment.

Tickets

The audience is a winner in advance, as an entry ticket is also a lottery ticket for a chance to win fantastic prizes that will pass by throughout the evening. Doors open at 6 p.m. The live stream can be watched for €19.95 here. Tickets are on sale from €59.50 on HIT IT.
