Only genuine Collectables

There was no online car auction of this size in the Netherlands before. Inspired by the American Bring a Trailer decided car enthusiasts Joris Roozen, Tom Verkooijen and Wouter Karssen that it was time to bring this car auction to the Netherlands. Through an auction, the founders want to make the buying and selling of Collectables as transparent as possible. Through the auction mechanism in the fairest form of supply and demand, transparent and market-based prices are created, according to the car enthusiasts.

As a buyer of many dozens of cars on the other side of the counter, Tom Verkooijen has seen how transactions can be done better, more pleasantly and financially smarter. Together with Joris and Wouter, he wants to make this a reality so that car enthusiasts can focus on the pleasures and not the burdens. Those who think it is convenient place to sell their used car are wrong. The men behind the platform watch carefully which car may be offered and which may not. It has to be a real Collectable which has not been tinkered with too much and preferably also with a good and honest story. To make the buying and selling process as transparent as possible, each car on offer has about 150 photos showing every possible scratch and allowing you to view your potential collectable from every angle. According to Wouter, you should be able to buy the car without having seen it in real life. As a buyer, you pay a 6% commission on top of the purchase price. This amount never exceeds 6,000 euros. According to Roozen, this is much lower than the average commissions charged on other platforms.

The website lets you see what cars are currently on offer, but is also great for car enthusiasts to feel like a kid in a candy store for a while.
