The world's leading cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises and jewelry house Fabergé are joining forces to design the first Fabergé egg, which will be on permanent display at sea.
The two organizations in luxury are proud to unveil the special design for the handmade Fabergé x Regent Seven Seas Cruises® Egg Objet that will become the figurehead of the art collection on the new ship. For the first time, this will give a Fabergé egg a permanent home at sea. The project, whose design highlights the powerful natural elements that define sea travel, marks some special "first times" for Fabergé. This creation will be on display on the Seven Seas Grandeur®, the newest ship in the fleet to be launched in November 2023.
'Journey in Jewels' is the name of the first Fabergé x Regent Seven Seas Cruises® Egg Objet. The precious egg will be the pièce de résistance of a priceless art collection on Seven Seas Grandeur, which will be worth millions of dollars and is in a rich tradition: Regent is known for bringing its onboard guests to enjoy famous works of art by artists such as Picasso, Miró and Chagall.
Journey in Jewels will not be released to the market: the precious artifact will be on exclusive display by guests on Seven Seas Grandeur®.
