MASTERS #61 – Q1 2025

This Collector's Edition is a treasure trove of gadgets and collectibles. Just like those that can be found at our MASTERS EXPO fair, of which this edition provides an extensive report. We highlight finds such as the Glashütte Senator Chronometer Tourbillon (edition 150, €185.000), a plexiglass wing by Blüthner (€184.500) and the exclusive Alpine A110 R (€133.000). The latter will certainly attract the attention of Herman van de Pavert. The self-made entrepreneur has built up an impressive collection of fast cars, including the very first Praga Bohema (€1,7 million) since last February. In MASTERS he shares his passion for hypercars. Where Herman is attracted to the smell of smoldering rubber, many others are attracted to the layered notes of complex perfumes. Especially when these are presented in an artistically designed bottle. In this edition we showcase some perfume works of art, including Diorissimo by La Maison Baccarat (€15.000). A perfume that will appeal to car enthusiasts like Herman is Age of Innocence (€275) by niche brand Toskovat. This fragrance distinguishes itself with heart notes of rubber, petrol, car seats and scraping metal! Each story, from the world premiere with the Praga Bohema to the dinosaur scent of Zoologist Perfumes 'that bites into the world of delicate perfumes and tears it wide open', contributes to the unique character of this edition and makes this Collector's Edition a true collector's item.
