Pablo Lücker in MASTERPIECES

Pablo Lucker is the seventh generation of an artist family from the south of the country. Born in Roermond, Lucker was named after the one and only Pablo Picasso and clearly was born into the art world. Pablo Lucker is known for his striking handwriting, the so-called "Dream Script," with which he expresses emotions or identities visually rather than with letters. His inspiration comes from his surroundings, from locations, encounters or interesting, unexpected conversations.Online Editor: Mical Joseph

King of my Heart & Queen of my dreams

"King of my Heart & Queen of my Dreams is a symbiosis. It symbolizes the ultimate love between husband and wife, where your partner is your entire world. The shimmering background symbolizes passion and shared dreams. As a creator, it has been a challenge to bring this work back to its essence. Expressing a person or even a love with just a few lines is a challenge where every movement and shape are important. This work was a search for the art of omission and that also fits the message: love is the essence of our existence.

This work is the first silkscreen series I have ever made and it will launch soon. The screen print is built from six printing layers using special gold and silver inks. The top printing layer is hand-finished."

Love Sign

"What jewelry is to the body, in my opinion, art is to the interior. The perfect, timeless addition. These 'Love Signs' are executed in 24-karat gold and thus stately decorate the home. I once heard the saying, "the heart that gives, gathers " - a statement that really touched me. This work is the physical translation of that, it is a message I want to give people in the form of a daily reminder, something you look at every day with love. The heart for love, the tongue for doing things with pleasure, and the hat for everything you do; do it with style. The cross symbolizes Amsterdam, and the lightning represents that rock-hard impact: the moment you know you really have chemistry with someone."

Mr. Pablitto

"The older I get, the more I begin to realize that it is good for a person not to lose the child in himself. You used to think anything was possible. You created your own world through your imagination and that made you feel free. That's a feeling I want to celebrate. My friends used to bestow upon me the nickname Pablitto, and so this character is a nod to my childhood. I always had the dream of designing my own archetype, my own character. Through new techniques such as 3D printing, that dream has now become a reality. As a creator, I look for innovative ways to develop 3D concepts. MR. Pablitto, my own totem, was created from a childhood dream for real now."
